To delve deeper into Nagaland’s tribal culture, this 6-day, 5-night tour is ideal for experiencing the unique customs and hospitality of the Konyak tribe, famed for their headhunting history. This tour includes homestay accommodations, traditional welcoming ceremonies, and exploration of village life, particularly in Longwa, where homes straddle the border of India and Myanmar.

Day 1 – Dibrugarh to Mon (120km/3 hours)

Upon your arrival at the Dibrugarh airport, one of our representative will pick you up and drive you to the hotel for the check in. Our representative will make a short highlights on the plans of this tour. Both dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 – Mon to Hongphoi (11 kms / 30 mins)

Today, we will get the opportunity to witness and share quality time with the last of the tattooed faces over a cup of black tea. In addition, a village is a must before leaving this village. For lunch, we will head back to mon and post launch, we will head back to the hotel.

Day 3 – Mon to Sheanghah Chingnyu (26 Kms / 1 hour)

Start the day with an early breakfast to explore extreme offroad trip to Sheanghah Chingnyu village. A visit to the Chief Angh (king) palace and a visit to the neighbouring villages for photography is a must. For lunch head back to the homestay and post launch, go for a walk in and around the neighbouring places to experience the tribal way of life. Then, head back to the homestay for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Mon to Longwa ( 49 kms / 1.5 hours)

Another day starts for offroad trip to Longwa village. Here , we will visit the Chief Angh (king) palace which lies right between India and Myanmar. In addition, we will visit the last of the headhunters and local gun makers. For lunch, we will head back to the Homestay. After the lunch, we will go for a village tour. Again, we will head back to the Homestay for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Longwa to Mon (49 kms / 1.5 hours )

For the second last , we will start the day with a late breakfast and leave to mon. We will walk around the town and visit local daily markets and other places if necessary. For lunch,we will head to the homestay and share good time with the staff and guides. Dinner and overnight at mon.

Day 6 – Mon to Dibrugarh (120 km / 3 hours)

To bid adieu to nagaland, start the day with an early breakfast at the hotel. Our guide will drop you till the Gauhati/Dimapur airport. Have a safe flight.
